Machine Learning Model for Running Injury Prediction
Using an instrumented treadmill and motion capture technology, our collaborator has collected running kinematics and kinetics of nearly 600 recreational runners. In combination with participant demographic information and running/injury history, our lab applies machine learning techniques in order to identify patterns associated with recurrent running injuries.

Softball Swing Analysis
Using force plate data collected in the weight room, and swing metrics collected in the batting cage, the initial objective is to develop a quantifiable relationship between force production and swing power. Once done, our lab will create swing power projections for each athlete for coaches to use to ensure athletes are reaching full batting potential.
